Find Me On Bluesky...

Hi all!

So much has happened in my life since I last posted, I promise a real update soon. For now I just wanted to let you all know I've deleted my Twitter account (no I won't call it that-- not ever.) For a multitude of reasons...

After thirteen years and three months on the platform I have to say I'm a bit heartbroken tonight. All the good things that happened to me writing-wise since 2010 happened because of Twitter, specifically because of the people I met there. They will always have my gratitude and a place in my heart.

But it got to the point where I just felt I couldn't stay on.

You can find me under the same username, februarygrace, on Bluesky. If you're a friend or past Twitter mutual and are trying to get on to Bluesky, send me a note via the contact form, I might be able to help. (Might. The lifeboats are only so big at the moment...)

I'll miss what was. But it's gone and it's not coming back. 

I'm grateful for what was, and for what is going forward.

And I still love all my friends with all my heart. I hope you'll find a way, one way or another, to stay in touch.

A Quick Note: I'm Having Issues with Replying to Comments!

Hi!

I'm able to publish comments at the moment but seemingly unable to reply to them :(

When I try it wants me to sign in, so I sign in but then when I go to the comment space it still says I'm signed out.

I don't know if this is a glitch with Blogger or my computer, but it's very annoying!

In the meantime, a huge shout out to MP whose comments made my day-- I miss you, MP! Much love to you from here.

I had hoped comments here would be a better alternative to other social platforms for keeping in touch with those who've left Twitter but I'm not sure how if it won't let me reply to my own blog!

I'll keep working on this as I have time (I have an appointment soon so it must wait for now). In the meantime, know that I miss you and love you all, friends, and I value your time and thank you for taking a moment out of your day to think of me. It really means a lot.

Missing Old Friends, Are You Out There?

Welcome to the first week of 2023, my friends.

I've attempted (again) to turn on comments to the blog here in case any of the friends who've left Twitter in the past few months especially want to try to get into contact with me.

I thought they were already enabled, then a friend asked me about turning them on and I was puzzled. I can't seem to find the option to comment on past posts so I'm hoping that with this one, the settings will actually take effect. Please note I have moderation on for comments, so yours won't appear instantly, I promise I'll keep up with approving them as quickly as I can.

Please say hi if you've left Twitter and we've fallen out of touch. I miss so many of you, it's like a ghost town there now and your presence is very much missed (though I understand why you went and my days there may well be numbered too).

I hope the year is off to a kind and gentle start for you.
